EFT-TAPPING-POINTSTapping (EFT) is a powerful energy technique used by doctors, psychologists, therapists, chiropractors, hypnotherapists, life coaches, and healing professionals worldwide in conjunction with other healing modalities. It is fast and the results are often dramatic and long lasting. In fact, it often works when nothing else will. It can be very effective on a variety of issues from stress, pain, overwhelm, procrastination, phobias, weight loss, anxiety, and lack of goal attainment.

Tapping (EFT) balances the energy system with gentle tapping on the face and body, which stimulates designated meridian endpoints to increase the flow of energy in your body and enables you to flush the toxins, beliefs, thoughts, habits, and patterns you have adopted throughout your lifetime. The tapping speaks to your unconscious mind freeing up space to allow what you wish to create to replace that energy more consciously.

How does tapping help you lose weight?  Every time you feel a negative emotion or are triggered by an old or unconscious memory, your amygdala signals your body to go into fight or flight mode.  Adrenaline and cortisol are released, your blood pressure, blood sugar levels and heart rate increase so you can meet the challenges.  All of your body's energy is channeled to self defense (even though you are really not in danger,) so that less essential functions like digestion are either slowed or shut down.

If your body is not digesting food, it has a negative impact on your metabolism which prevents the body from absorbing the nutrients that it needs.  Without this essential nourishment, your body can trigger false hunger signals not because it is hungry but because it cannot properly digest the food that is available.

The overproduction of cortisol (known as the stress hormone) has been directly linked to abdominal obesity. Tapping calms your nervous system and halts the fight or flight response which lowers cortisol levels.  With tapping you can change how your brain reacts to stress and triggers.

In these four weeks, we will be exploring specifically the emotions, triggers 5EFTand actions that are keeping you stuck in a body that you do not like or accept.  When you don't like something, it is hard to take care of it, so you will also learn to love your body so that you can treat it with the love and respect it deserves.

We will meet in a virtual classroom where we can see each other and participate as if we were in the same physical room. This has many benefits:.

  2. If you miss a week, you won’t have to miss anything because you will have the recording.
  3. If you are traveling, you can still participate in the live sessions if you choose, or have the recording for later.
  4. There is also the option to dial in from a phone if you prefer not to join with video, are having technical issues, or don't have a webcam.
